After graduating from the Pyhäjoki Secondary school in 2007 I attended to one year art program in The Liminka School of Art where I learned the very fundamentals in drawing, painting, sculpture and art history.

The term classical realism first caught my interest when I was 15. Most of what I know I have learned through independent study from books (such as The Painter in Oil, by Daniel Burleigh Parkhurst) and other instructional material I have discovered through http://www.artrenewal.org/.

Besides of the works of old masters suchs as Caravaggio's, Velasquez's and Rembrandt's, I'm a great admirer of Pietro Annigoni's and Michael John Angel's.

Henna Uoti has been accepted into the Angel Academy of Art in Florence, Italy, at the age of 19, and will begin her studies of classical painting in the Fall of 2008.
